Description

Dave Shearsby, a retired Detective Sergeant, was murdered in his home, The Mill Cottage
in Aston Cantlow, on 24 th July 2021. The police have failed to make an arrest.
Take part in an open public Inquiry to find new clues or unmask the guilty person. Look at
and listen to the local witnesses. Then tour village locations which relate to the crime
including the Church, Old Vicarage, the graveyard, and The Mill Cottage, where you will
examine a reconstruction of the murder scene. Are the witnesses protecting themselves
or others? Will your answer be the correct one? All will be revealed at the end!
The event concludes with a supper and glass of wine, both included in the ticket price, at
Aston Cantlow Club.
